Overview
Miromind is an international SEO company with highly targeted experience in YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) industries, including legal, finance, and healthcare. The company understands the multiple nuances related to sensitive content topics common for these industries and applies in-depth technical SEO knowledge to bring clients to the top of the SERPs while improving their LLM visibility.
In May 2022, a patient advocacy platform started its collaboration with Miromind with the goal to improve their rankings for key industry keywords and bringing more relevant traffic to the website.

Patient advocacy and supportChallenge
The client faced multiple issues that limited organic growth and prevented the website from building authority in Google’s eyes.
Low-Quality AI and UGC Content
A significant portion of the existing content consisted of low-quality AI-generated pages. While these pages increased content volume, they failed to satisfy search intent. The lack of factual depth and the demonstration of real expertise caused Google to reduce rankings. The regular spam updates led to the loss of visibility.
Multiple Technical SEO Issues
The platform suffered from several technical problems that negatively affected crawling and indexing. It also had issues with user experience and website speed. Together, these problems limited the website’s ability to perform in competitive SERPs.
High Competition
Patient advocacy keywords are highly competitive. Search results are dominated by authoritative healthcare organizations and government resources, which are hard to beat. Ranking for both informational and service-related queries required a highly specific yet flexible strategy. One of the most complicated tandems in SEO.
YMYL Content Sensitivity
Since the patient advocacy platform is in the healthcare niche, all content falls under YMYL guidelines. Google applies stricter quality standards to such pages, especially when guidance is involved. The client initially provided low-value AI-generated content that raised a red flag.
Lack of Visible Expertise and Authority
The website did not clearly demonstrate who was behind the content or why users should trust it. Author credentials and expert validation weren’t strong enough to convince Google of the website’s authority.
Solution
To address these challenges, Miromind implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy. The approach combined technical SEO, content quality improvements, authority building, and data-driven expansion.
Technical SEO
Miromind supported the client during platform development and ongoing improvements.
Key actions included:
- Pre-deployment SEO audits
- Post-deployment audits
- Full backend and frontend SEO reviews
- Page speed, indexing, and crawlability checks
The team made sure that all SEO features were implemented from the start.
EEAT Implementation for Healthcare Content
Given the YMYL nature of the website, strengthening EEAT was a top priority. Miromind implemented multiple authority signals.
Key EEAT initiatives included:
- Automatic structured data for personal healthcare advocate pages
- Clear content structure
- Factually accurate information
- Content clusters for topical authority
- Strong author profiles
This helped Google better understand who created the content and why it could be trusted by the audience.
Content Quality Improvements
Miromind conducted a full content audit to identify low-quality AI-generated and UGC pages. Each page was reviewed for accuracy and usefulness to patients.
Based on the audit results, the team:
- Improved weak content
- Removed (and sometimes consolidated) pages with no strategic value
- Enhanced clarity, structure, and medical accuracy
This process significantly improved overall content quality and reduced the risk of algorithmic penalties.
Off-Page Strategy
Miromind performed in-depth competitor backlink research. The goal was to understand what worked for top-ranking websites and build a scalable off-page strategy.
The analysis included:
- Number of backlinks
- Type of referring pages
- Domain authority
- Anchor text patterns
Advanced SEO tools and custom scripts were used to extract and analyze backlink data. Based on the findings, Miromind developed a long-term link-building strategy.
Data-Driven Content Expansion Using GSC
A key part of the content strategy involved analyzing real search demand using Google Search Console data. This allowed the team to find missed opportunities.
The process included:
- Exporting query data from Google Search Console
- Clustering queries with significant impressions and local intent
- Identifying queries without dedicated landing pages
- Creating a structured plan with the client
- Developing optimized local pages to target these queries
As a result, newly created local pages began driving a significant organic traffic.
Advanced Analytics & AI Traffic Tracking
In addition to standard analytics setups, Miromind implemented AI traffic tracking to monitor visibility across LLMs. This helped with content ideas and optimization for AI search.
Ongoing SEO
As always, Miromind continued implementing SEO tactics even when initial major fixes were finished. Ongoing work included:
- Keyword research refreshes
- Keyword tracking
- Content strategy refinement
- Content recommendations for the client’s internal writers
- Permanent link-building
- Page-level improvements
Since the world of search is changing daily, the continuous approach is the only way to hold on to the SEO wins and get new ones.
Results
Over almost four years of collaboration, Miromind managed to improve traffic to the platform from nearly 0 to 2,800 visits monthly. The majority of the traffic has high potential and helps the patient advocacy platform achieve its business goals.
